The shiny texture and color of the sauces gives the impression that it tastes really good. The clarity of the photo also gives the impression that the food is right in front of you and you could just reach in the screen and eat it. The low exposure of the photo kind of weighs down the quality, I believe what could be improved is by messing with the levels and curves in photoshop to brighten the darks and normalize the photo. Another thing you could try to do is mess with the color balance to make the colors pop out a bit more. But overall interesting and exciting picture of your lunch.
