This photograph works really well with the theme, "Animal." She took a very well balanced, interesting, and tightly shot, photo of her cat. There is so much detail and clarity in this short depth of field photo. I love it! I feel as though as I can pet the cat. The viewer's eye automatically go towards the nasal area because of its perfect detail then towards the cats eyes. The cat appears to be looking slightly away from the camera, giving Michelle a chance to truly capture the essence of an animal, that also vividly shows the rugged colors in the cats fur. A nice blend of dark tones. The photo also gives off a strong emotion, as if the cat is saying, "do not mess with me." Kind of reminds me of a wolf or wolf like dog (husky).
Great photograph! I do not see anything that could be improved. I like neat photographs of cats, partly because I have always wanted one but I'm allergic :(
