I think David started with strong work. But I think this class was still a challenge for him based on assignments and what to take photos of. sometimes you just don't have a concept in mind or need a reason to shoot an image. This class helped him get in the game more and photograph things he may not have already photographed. Even his cell phone image is clear, good resolution, not grainy, conceptual, in focus. All of the above he's got covered. It's also not your usual cell phone selfie, he's not smiling, he's not coy. It's direct and it references his family as well as the fact that it was taken with the cell phone. Something about it is still a serious image. It references other times with his family and shows growth. It also shows that he can still take a good photo, even with a very basic camera.
