Although there are two photographs, they both work as an appropriate "selfie." The first photo shows Tere making a funny goofy face and the second photo, smiling. I believe it works well as a whole because you can clearly see the subjects quirky personality radiating in the photographs. It stands out from the other works. This is one of the few photos that have both an inviting and fun tone that not only fits the theme but also shows off a part of their character. She definitely looks like the type of person anyone would like to hang out and have a nice conversation with. I believe the only thing that could be improved is the amount of light. It has a hard amount of light being thrown at the subject. It might have worked better without the flash or by diffusing/bouncing off the light.
