It is a still picture but by view and the position of the cat, there is a sense of motion going on when the picture was taken. It fits with the composition ideas discussed in the class. It is not a simple snapshot but this was a different angle. The cat looks like it was caught mid-play of an object which isn't seen clearly. I think that is ok because that wasn't the focus of the image. It also shows texture of the cat's fur comes through. The gloss in the cat's eye brings a variation of texture from the fur, the whiskers, and the background. I think there is good composition in this picture because the cloth in the background that gives the entire image some variation in color depth and the point of view the picture was taken.
