"Popsi-scape" Yum. Delicious. Crunch, crunch. I would title this photograph "Popsi-scape". The popsicle takes up most of frame and is the focal point. It becomes a landscape filled with dips and textures, rocks and swamps. This is also one of my favorite kinds of popsicles, I think its a Jack and Jill eclair popsicle which I absolutely adore. All that texture in one bite. The crunchy outside the creamy layer and then the delicious chocolate. I could write an ode to this type of popsicle. The photograph helps to celebrate the deliciousness of the popsicle and remind me that I should run across the street to the giant and buy a box or two.
I wish the micro lens had been pushed further and the photo was of only the popsicle. Forget the plate and any back ground, or just have a very shallow depth of field, where even some parts of the popsicle are blurred out. I think as well that there could be stronger, light but not too strong to take away from the softness of ice cream but strong enough to give it more space and depth.
This is awesome! Now I need an ice cream truck.
