Red Nature Texture Color Simplistic Rustic Rigid Smooth Fantastical Pretty
I like the contrast of textures and colors. It feels fantastical in the sense that it could be from a fairytale or a scene that was created unnaturally but still feels very natural. The stick is rigid, fragile, and rough, while the background is smooth, colorful, and pretty. I like how it could be in Martha Stewart magazine or something from a Snow White production.
The soft and smooth texture of the background in combination with the colors gives the focus of the photograph (the stick) a contradictory backdrop. I like the simple composition of the photograph but also the complex elements of the different colors and textures. I like how there are layers of color with the white and gray tones of the stick and the red, white and blue of the background. The dark shadow of the stick provides another linear element next to the stick giving depth to the photograph.
