Speed up your shutter speed jut a bit so we see something besides the abstract lines. This image is interesting, but fallen too far into abstraction to work for the theme.
Goin’: I named this photo “goin’” because it has movement but no direction, therefore it’s just goin’. It reminds me of being in a city at night, with lights and commotion, people out and about but with nowhere to really go. You are goin’ but where? I imagine standing on a street corner at night watching as everything move around me, lost in my own thoughts and standing still as the world wizzes by. This photo, to me, tells a story with the movement, the colors, and the fact that there is no predominant subject, evoking feeling without taking a specific position. The colors are vivid and clean at the same time as being blended together, allowing you to see them but not associate them with specifics. I really like the said elements of this photo; nonetheless the photo could have made the focus of the picture more visible displaying what is causing the motion more specifically.
