The shot is out of focus. You need to really work to make sure the camera is capturing the focus where you want it. The reflection works for you here. Think about moving yourself or your camera to compose it in a way that makes it look like something that's not a mug shot. Get higher, get lower, move left, move right, zoom in, zoom out..
