The depth of field is very shallow and the photo is taken in the macro mode. The focus is mid depth. Because the focus is mid-depth there is a blurry french fry in the foreground that interrupts the focused fries closer to the middle of the image. Had this fry been removed or the focus been closer to foreground the image would not feel like a french fry photo bombed a friendly group of french fries. The colors present are yellow or orange, white and blue. Orange and blue are complementary colors and is the hue/saturation has been manipulated just a little bit more there would be more tension and excitement in the photo. Maybe even is the fries were angled more it would interrupt some of the horizontal nature of the image giving it more excitement as well.
