  1. This image is a photograph of a box of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese and an apple that has been placed on a white plate. The plate sits next to a clean silver fork on a white textured placemat.

There is a balance of contrast in this photograph starting with the box of macaroni and cheese. The box is a gradient blue with images of orange macaroni and cheese and other sections on the box that are colored with orange. On the side of the box are instructions for cooking the macaroni, complimented with illustrated images. Next to the box is a shiny bright red apple, which pops up in the image even though it is not fully in focus. The apple is so prevalent because of its contrast with the white plate is sits on. The white plate and placemat seems to serve as a backdrop for the colors.

The bright colors of the box of macaroni and the red apple really catch your eye, almost making you miss the silver fork. It was interesting to me that my eye was drawn to the slightly focused apple than the fork that is completely in focus.

The photo is shot with short depth of field as the macaroni and cheese box, fork, half of the placemat and half of the plate are in focus. Some of the apple, the back of both the plate and placemat blurred in the foreground, as well as the wooden table that all of the items are on.
