The image is dark and grainy. The grain comes from a very high ISO. You need to get more light on the subject so the camera's auto controls don't default where they did here. Some work with levels/curves in PS will help with the flatness, but not cure the graininess. The crystal texture in the ice cream is nice and I'm glad you brought it out. Think about moving yourself, or the camera. You're composed straight down and are cutting off the scoop on the spoon. Since it's on a spoon, our attention is drawn there. As a focal point, think about giving us the whole scoop. Or, crop the scoop so it follows the rule of thirds.
I had a brighter light, but I noticed that the sherbet was beginning to melt and I changed the lighting. I wasted a lot of ice cream that day (not a fan of ice cream)this was my last chance to shoot. I wanted you to see the texture of the ice cream and shooting at a different angle didn't show much of the texture, Sorry.Thank you for your comments.
