Something I Made - Jess Moore

  1. This is a terrific example of "flash in the face". Too much light is coming from the strobe unit and the light concentrates in one big hot pool. Focus is on the neck and not the head… yet the light hot spot in on the head. It looks like a bedspread or something was used for the background. Shoot it shorter depth of field or change it... it's distracting as it peeps from the shadows.
    High angle composition wasn't the best choice. Fit's the "snap shot" category that I want you to avoid.
