Here we have two photos of orange flowers. Both images are very pretty and have a unique crop to them, which allows the audience to see the flowers at interesting angles. The petals are long and thick, and the photographer has zoomed in just close enough, so that we can see the actual texture of the petals and imagine its softness.

The first photo is exposed to a stronger light source, while the bottom has more of a softer and natural tone of light.

In the first image, there is a stronger saturation of orange that floods the picture. It would be interesting to see how the image would look with more adjustments to the levels in the photo. We actually see more of a contrast with the colors of the flowers and the background in the lower photo, which I might like the most. There are many lines that add more dynamics to the photo such as the tall blades of grass, the green stems, and the lines in the flower petals, which can be seen in both images.

The shapes of the petals also are pleasing to eye and add more dynamics to the picture, as our eyes try to figure out which the flowers the petals belong to. I appreciate the depth of field in both images. I like that the flowers are distinct in the forefront of the photo, while the grass seems very distance and out of focus.

I think that Teresa made great use of the color orange and really made the color stand out in the bottom picture.
