The photo grabs my attention immediately. Proper comparison and well-balanced composition make the orange color stand out. In fact, nave blue versus orange is a nice scheme for the topic as the orange becomes appealing once it compared with navy. Moreover, the simple color combination builds up the credibility for the product. It looks like that the photographer chooses a cushion, which has superior quality. Careful sewing and fine-grained fabric disclose the high quality to the production. As a result, the natural color and modesty tone create the attractive appearance in the picture.

The only thing confusing me is the focus. It seems that the photographer intents to put the focus on the both sides as the orange color is clearer and distinctive there. However, the dark blue in the middle attracts me to look at it straightly—a perfect line extending my eye to a farthest distance, which causes me to think of a promising future. Additionally, the dark blue in each side of the upper corner distract me as well. Both dark blue and orange has the strong visual impact. Maybe, there is another intention here; I am not sure about it.

The natural lighting contributes to the superior texture. Short depth field provides details of the fabric. The “secret” pleases me: the directional structure is the resource that strengthens the sense of space and authenticity. The blue textile has significant meaning not only for the composition but also for the aesthetics.
