I love kiwis and I really like the texture that can be seen in this photo. There is a texture difference that can be seen with the kiwi and the basket it is in. So even though its monotone, the texture still make it come to life. If anything could be improved, I would just say the shadow of the left kiwi. The one that is against the basket. I probably would have put a kiwi below that to rid of the shadow and really see more of the texture and give it more perspective. Great picture of my favorite fruit!
The available light in the room looks like a 100 watt light bulb. That kind of light is very yellow. Go into Photoshop and work with the levels/curves/color balance to fix the problem. Your depth of field is short. The kiwi in the front takes up 1/3 of the image, yet it's out of focus. You need to put the focus on the foreground or lengthen your DOF.
