List! 1. Pineapple?/2.Sugar Cane/3. Palm Trees/4. Dexter!/5. Math 104/6. The banana's thirds/ 7. Google Search/ 8. Fibonacci numbers/9. GRE/10. Shot glass....
First thought is this was done by trimming the leaves on a pineapple's top. But where would you get those lovely browns? So it has to be a palm tree. Or a house plant that is partial to deserts. I wish I had more random thoughts in that direction because this brings up my sole CS in undergrad, Math 104- Problem Solving. Why did it take a month to work on 7 problems?!?! This is an example of the Fibonacci number sequence and its continual appearance in nature. Or is it the golden number ratio? Whatever it is, I recall this class the way one recalls a "bad idea" relationship. While I am grateful for the mind blowing realization that my banana is actually a sectional fruit, I still want to dance away from all the interconnectedness that math offers. Makes me want to not want to be smart.
But back to the play of light and glimmers of shadow in the corner. I think the brightness on one side acts like a kind of halo to the shadows on the other side. Makes me think of a play between good and evil with the palm tree being worried away in between. I don't think the palm tree has long to make up its mind on either score before its life is over. I would not think Dexter if I had not just finished watching season three where the killer was a tree trimmer. I think a bit more background may help this be more interesting. Or maybe that is the math aversion talking.
Fun Idea.
